This event will provide you with a welcoming beginning to the new academic semester. We will cover the services offered, the Umoja practices that support the movement, and your responsibilities as a member of Umoja-AFFIRM at Evergreen Valley College.
Our team is amp'd up for the upcoming academic year as we know you are too. There are our usual academic support services to help you reach your goals as well as some BRAND NEW activities and workshops. Attendance at the Welcome-Orientation is mandatory for either September 5th (12:15 pm to 1:30 pm) or September 11th (12:15 pm to 1:30 pm) in Gullo II. Refreshments will be served!!
If you are unable to attend either session due to class or work schedule conflict, please contact Sean Dickerson by email at Umoja.AFFIRM@evc.edu or in the office (Acacia AC-130) to identify an alternative time and day to complete the Welcome-Orientation.
